About this site
cafdeals.ca is a free, independent directory of discounts and pro deals available to Canadian Armed Forces members, veterans, and their families. It currently lists 218 verified programs across 11 categories, in English and French.
Who runs it
It's built and maintained by one serving CAF member as a personal side project, not by the Department of National Defence, the Canadian Armed Forces, CFMWS, or any company. Nobody is paid to be listed, and listings can't be bought.
Why it exists
Military discounts are scattered across hundreds of vendor pages, forum threads, and word of mouth. Half the links are dead by the time you find them. This site puts them in one place, keeps them checked, and makes them searchable by category, region, or your base.
How deals are verified
- Every deal is added by hand and checked against the vendor's own terms before it's listed.
- Links are re-checked automatically every day; anything broken is flagged for review.
- Each deal carries a tier, from T1 (free or exceptional) down to T5 (niche or low value), so a real program stands out from a token one.
- Programs change without notice. Always confirm with the vendor before you rely on a deal.
Community-driven
Missing a deal, or found one that's out of date? Use the "Submit a deal" button on the homepage. Every submission is reviewed before it's published.
Free, with no ads and no affiliate links
There are no ads, no sponsored placements, and no affiliate links. If the site saves you money and you'd like to keep it running, you can buy the maintainer a coffee. It's entirely optional.
Not an official resource
cafdeals.ca is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Department of National Defence, the Canadian Armed Forces, or Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services. "Canadian Armed Forces" and "CAF" are used descriptively. For official benefits and programs, see CFMWS.
